WHAT Take care of and play with children
so that their parents can get the most
from a conference focused on the needs
         of visually impaired children

WHEN Saturday, May 3, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

WHERE Perkins School for the Blind, Watertown

WHY It's fun to play!
The 31st annual New England Regional Seminar
for Families of Children with Visual
Impairments conference needs us to help
care for 3-, 4-year old children who
         have visual impairments and/or multiple
disabilities, as well as care for their
         sighted siblings. Supervised child care
enables parents to participate fully in
         the conference, learning about resources
and networking with and receiving support
from professionals and families like theirs.

         Training, supervision, activities, and lunch
break will be provided. Children select
         from organized age- and ability-appropriate
         activities at wonderful playgrounds, gyms,
         and other play spaces.

         Professional child care providers assist
volunteers as needed. All children love to
play, so please don't let (dis)abilities
         intimidate you.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
