WHAT Help the free Boston Local Food Festival become a
zero waste event that focuses on
        healthy food and fitness

WHEN Sunday, September 18
1:15 to 6:15 PM, Rain or Shine

WHERE Rose Kennedy Greenway, Boston

WHY The free Boston Local Food Festival focuses on
healthy food and fitness by offering unique and
interesting free events like a seafood throwdown,
chef and DIY demos, family fun zone, music, and entertainment.

In order to reach <10% waste, PMD volunteers age 12+
will team up at stations (while standing most of the time)
to educate and to engage the public in reusing
event programs; composting food scraps and compostable
cups, plates, forks, spoons, etc; and
recycling plastic containers, paper, and cardboard.

Registered volunteers will receive free t-shirt,
and be able to explore this festival BEFORE the
        PMD shift begins.
